We’re launching our ESG-connected affiliates initiative, bringing together complementary organisations to create a new technology platform eco-system that accelerates benefit delivery from future energy models.
As energy transitions to become cleaner, smarter and more flexible there is a growing requirement for new technology platform eco-systems that span across customer, operational, market and networks.
These platform eco-systems combine expert capabilities from dedicated providers to optimize energy continually. The latest digital technology is integrated into automated services operating beyond provider boundaries to create the next frontier of agile competitive energy.
ESG-connected brings together complementary companies working alongside each other to empower competitive energy leaders.
Through this initiative ESG will create a new eco-system of leading providers who integrate, collaborate and innovate so that energy leaders can deliver their future promise of cleaner, smarter and flexible energy.
This new initiative is part of a step forward in 2021 by ESG to make a leading contribution to empower those delivering our future energy needs globally. ESG-connected is the first public step in the extensive investments underway into the next generation of our SaaS platform, flexible integration, global expertise and new capabilities that ESG will reveal through 2021 and beyond. Through this new initiative, ESG, its affiliates and the energy leaders it empower globally will make a shared contribution to our future.
We seek to build supportive affiliate relationships and become ESG-connected where we and the prospective affiliate share the following characteristics:
Our businesses do not compete and we’re happy to talk about each other.
We have established an NDA in place and agreed a basis to share our API integration information.
Our solutions integrate to provide the wider ‘eco-system’ platform our shared customers are empowered by.
We are each happy to list each other on such as an Affiliates or Partnering web page.
We each are happy to promote our affiliation as part of our shared ‘digitization’ of the energy sector
Each party is then able to guide our customers to solutions that are either pre-connected to us or in the path of doing so.

Sharing and exploration together of strategic market insight, information sharing and technical specification exchange. Guidance during the technology integration of our reciprocal value.
Ability to talk about our affiliation and integration in customer sales situations and include provided input where we each agree in advance.
Collaboration to help our customers achieve key goals and change initiatives across our shared value. Collaboration in the development of shared innovative thought leadership and reciprocal solution value, including establishment of trials, pilots and showcases for new shared value.
Invitation of ESG affiliates to our events and workgroups, such as our Smarter Energy Insights Forum.
Reciprocal promotion of our affiliates at our websites / social media channels as agreed in advance. ESG will include affiliates in its new website specific to this initiative.
Provision of the ESG-connected logo / badge shown for use in the ways outlined in this section.
We each follow the other at social media (LinkedIn and Twitter) and where helpful and appropriate, share each other’s updates.
Provision of Marketing straplines to use around our affiliation such as ‘Empowering energy leaders globally through our shared integration, collaboration & innovation’.
Opportunities to explore affiliated or shared marketing where appropriate (some examples being such as co-location at conferences, shared speeches, development of shared use cases and case studies).
We aspire to keep this initiative simple. Focused on building shared integration, collaboration and innovation our through affiliation.
ESG-connected is not a formal and exclusive ‘Partnering’ initiative and therefore supports our companies operating in a diverse range of customer requirements.
The initiative is operated on the basis of each party putting in its own efforts, focused on empowering our shared customers. This helps us each achieve our business goals, focus on our customers and understand the benefit of our time in the affiliation between us.
The more effort we each put in, matched with the customer opportunity and leadership we are collaborating to create – the stronger our affiliation grows over time.
There is no cost to affiliate as our efforts will empower the success of our shared customers and therefore by extension our businesses.
