Energy UK – Switching continues to recover
Energy UK have published Electricity Switching figures for July which show the number of customers switching supplier continues to rise. This continued increase comes after an initial decline in switching since the start of the pandemic. 2020 has seen a total of 3.4 million customer switches, which is 4% lower than this point in 2019. In July a total of 519,700 customers switched, which is a 17% increase of switching in June – and only 1% less than the same month in 2019.
