When did you join the company and at what position?

I joined the company on a temporary basis in 2016 after finishing my Postgraduate degree in Legal Practice but quickly excelled to a permanent position in my area of study.

How has Utiligroup helped you in your career?

They have provided me with the best career path I could have ever wished for. I was fortunate enough to be in the business at the same time they were developing an in-house legal department and after introducing myself to the Legal Director I was lucky enough to be offered a part-time position as a Paralegal. After 10 months of developing my skills and knowledge in this role I was promoted to Trainee solicitor where I continue to grow and learn about commercial and corporate legal matters. Utiligroup’s commitment and dedication to my development has meant I have gone from strength to strength. Parallel to this my confidence and self-belief has really flourished.

What is on your wishlist for the next ten years in the company?

Within the next two years I will have completed my training contract as a Trainee Solicitor after which I hope to progress onto Junior Solicitor, in ten years’ time I hope my knowledge and skills will enable me to be the Legal Director.

What do you love most about Utiligroup?

The people at Utiligroup create a really friendly and sociable atmosphere where anyone can speak to anyone. This attitude stems from the top down, the board members here are very approachable and understanding which helps to create a positive working environment.

If you could share any advice for prospective candidates what would it be?

Don’t think twice about applying, Utiligroup is such a great place to work and you will fit in right away.
